The story behind the space

The Industrique successfully filled a crucial gap in Victoria’s creative landscape. For years, Melbourne's arts and music communities lacked a large-scale, highly versatile space capable of hosting any type of event. By blending a massive physical footprint with elite production capabilities, the venue stepped in to provide victorian creatives with the exact blank canvas facility they had been missing.

The venue spans 1200 square metres of combined indoor and outdoor space offering a rare level of flexibility. Whether it be live music, film shoots a private celebration or corporate event, the venue adapts its space effortlessly, without losing atmosphere or energy.

With ample room for food vendors, art stalls and even bouncy castles, The Industrique provides a space where anything is possible. Located in an industrial zoned area, directly adjacent to the Coburg Velodrome in Coburg North, 20 minutes from Melbourne CBD, the location provides plenty of free off-street parking with public transport only 5 minutes walk away.

The entire warehouse is acoustically treated, meaning no harsh reverb. Paired with a powerful in-house NEXO sound system and a combination of special FX (SFX/VFX), The Industrique provides a unmatched audio visual experience making it the ideal choice for bands, DJ’s and live performances

From day to night

With 88 square metres of south facing windows, the space is flooded with natural light, providing the platform for an incredible daytime vibe as well as night. It's two outdoor areas areas provide even more room to move, create and connect.

As the sun goes down, the venue transforms into something completely different, delivering a unique and immersive night-time atmosphere.

Courtyard

A bright, open-air area perfect for daytime parties, summer celebrations, outdoor drinks, and family-friendly events. Boiler Room

The DJ booth sits at the centre, surrounded by the crowd for a full 360° experience focused purely on music and dance floor energy. Entrance to the boiler room is via an alleyway down the side of the building providing a true and unique underground experience.
